About Us
For three decades, Serdar has led business development, design, engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance efforts for global energy companies. Before founding SELEST Solutions, he led ENGIE’s major partnerships division, overseeing transformative campus energy partnerships at The Ohio State University, University of Iowa, Georgetown University, Howard University, and Boston’s Longwood Medical Center. Serdar was also a member of the joint venture management boards on those partnerships.
Prior to that, he served as Head of Engineering and Construction for ENGIE North America. Serdar began his career in leadership roles focused on construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of combined cycle power plants in the US and abroad.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and an Executive MBA from Purdue University. Serdar is a licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a Fellow Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom.
